We never blend Square's processing fee with Stewardvine's software fee into one headline number. You always see what goes to Square and what goes to Stewardvine — and Stewardvine never deducts from a donation.
Square processing fee
2.6% + 15¢ per in-person tap
Charged by Square, and settled inside your parish's own Square account. This is Square's fee for processing the payment — not Stewardvine's.

Stewardvine software service fee
~1% of processed volume
Billed by Stewardvine to the parish on its own monthly invoice. It is never deducted from donations, and Stewardvine does not use Square's app-fee split.
