- The funds are the parish's. Stewardvine never accepts, holds, escrows, or transmits donor funds. There is nothing of yours for a young company to lose.
- The Square account is the parish's. Donations settle directly into it. That relationship stands on its own, independent of Stewardvine.
- Your data comes with you. One-click export means you are never locked in, whatever the future holds.
In plain terms
Stewardvine is software. If we disappeared, your parish would keep its account, its settled funds, and an export of its records.

Stewardship
The offertory is entrusted to the parish for its mission. We treat every design decision as a question of good stewardship of that trust — and we keep our hands off the money.
Transparency
Two fees, always shown separately: Square's processing fee, and Stewardvine's separate ~1% software fee on its own invoice. Never a single blended number, never a surprise.
Respect for the offertory
Contactless giving should serve the parishioner who came with only a phone — while honoring the ritual, the procession, and the dignity of the collection basket. A companion, never a replacement.
